| My name is Paul Mellor I grew up in Stafford and Manchester but i live on the Isle of Anglesey now in North Wales Art has always been a passion of mine ,Even when i have not been drawing for sometime .My artistic awareness is always running through my veins like an addiction. No matter where i am or what i am doing.. most of the time Everything i look at ,i study and think of ways how i would draw it. I am a self taught artist and like most people started drawing at an early age ,I was never Very good at other subjects in school and had no interest in anything which involved staring at a piece of paper writing all day. My Creativity was itching to get out and draw on that Paper or go out and Build and make things . I have been drawing properly for about now for about ten years in between jobs working as a Builder and Joiner ,Building Brick and Stone walls and making things out of Timber. whenever i get chance i am either drawing or Carving . I started doing sketches with biro pen when i use to travel on the train to Manchester and back ,Mainly doing cartoons. Then i started doing Surreal drawings and anything which popped into my head. I started to learn how to draw people portraits about 7 years ago now using either Graphite 2B technical pencils or charcoal. Then i started doing Commission portraits from photographs which i have recently started doing again working from home self employed just doing the odd portrait for people . I did a drawing for the Guitarist and teacher Justin Sandercoe who is well known for hes Tutorials on youtube. I recently went to Nepal in the Himalayas working in a School teaching art to people from ages 6 up to 18 years old Which was an amazing Experience and next year i shall be doing the same again hopefully Vietnam and Cambodia ! I also do some Tattooing in a friends Tattoo studio and have done several Tattoos I have a lot of tattoo designs in folder's but i do not put them Online as people will use them. I do a lot of Celtic and Indian henna style work Also stuff like Peacocks ,Butterflies ,Chinease work etc. So if you would like a Unique Tattoo Designing that no one else on this planet has please contact me . I also do Bone Carving Which i use a cows shin bone ,Cut the design out and use various saws,drill bits and Burrs to make pendants.
